Story is about a Tokyo girl looking round Okinawa island for her long-lost brother and finding he is the tourist guide with whom she has had an affair.
Weeks before the end of WW2, a boy finds an American girl hidden in the barn of his grandmother's house. The girl turns out to be his cousin, and they become friends. But the Japanese police is informed of the girl's presence.
